Designed specifically for people navigating hypermobility, connective tissue conditions, and their many companions - dysautonomia, chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, and the long diagnostic road that often comes with all of it.
Body-Mind Medicine. Self-Regulation. The Science of Coming Home to Yourself.
I've been a physical therapist for 35 years. Before that, I trained at an international mime and comedy school, where I learned to read a body long before I had clinical language for what I was seeing. I've been meditating since 1977. I live in a body with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and I've spent decades learning what it actually takes to build resilience when your physiology doesn't follow the textbook.
That combination of science, practice, and lived experience is the foundation of everything I do.

Ways to Work Together
-
This is where we start. One body, one nervous system, one conversation, with time to hear what you have been carrying and how you came to be carrying it. We work with what is actually in front of us that day, whether that is pain, hypermobility, dizziness, fatigue, or the sense that your body has stopped being a place you can settle into. Sessions happen in person in the Twin Cities or online wherever you are.

Small and specific. I teach privately, and I also work with groups of four, Four people is small enough that I can see every body in the room and adjust for it, and big enough that something happens between people that does not happen when you are alone. We work with stability and with self regulation and biofeedback together, because a body that feels steady and a nervous system that feels safe are the same project approached from two directions. I keep ongoing groups going so that this kind of care stays within finacial reach for more people.

Fascial Freedom is my modified Block Therapy protocol, built for hypermobile and sensitive bodies that do not do well with the standard approach. We use the block to work slowly into fascia, with far less pressure and far more listening than you may have been taught to expect. You will learn the positions well enough to keep using them at home, and we check in periodically to adjust as your body changes.scription text goes here

Coming in October. Mat based work for the days when you want to be on the floor and let the ground hold you. Movement that is slow, curious, and scaled for bodies that are easily overdone, with room to notice what changes rather than chasing a workout.

Some people want to be in the room with me, and some people need to practice at eleven at night when the house is finally quiet. You can join live, or work through the recordings at whatever pace your body allows. The material is the same either way, and nothing here requires you to keep up with anybody.Item description
